ABOUT BBYO
BBYO is a teen led organization for Jewish teens with over 70,000 teens involved across 600 communities in more than 60 countries around the world. BBYO creates a strong sense of community, fosters Jewish identity, and builds character and meaning in the lives of the teens who participate. It operates on three levels: chapter, regional, and International. Chapters are more local, regions include multiple chapters, and the international order includes all regions in the organization.
CHAPTER INVOLVEMENT
I belong to El Al BBG #1863 in Palo Alto and Menlo Park where I have served 3 chapter positions. As vice president of philanthropy, I held two successful fundraisers for Magen David Adom and planned several community service events for teens and their parents. As the vice president of membership, I contributed to getting our chapter to 100 members and strengthened community building. As the vice president, I planned 80+ hours of events including full chapter trips.
REGIONAL INVOLVEMENT
I belong to Central Region West #45 which lies in Northern California. I contributed to our largest fundraising campaign, Giving BBYO Day, and updated the Central Region West BBG Constitution as a member of the BBG Engagement comittee.
INTERNATIONAL INVOLVEMENT
On BBYO's international level, I have participated and lead in many ways. For one, I was a part of the Levin Global Leadership Academy where I delivered a TED-Ed Talk at BBYO's international conference in 2025. I also attended BBYO's Chapter Leadership Training Convention during the summer of 2024.
